Steering System selection of a vessel equipped with two independent rudder systems will often require selective single rudder operation (Port or Stbd rudder system only) or dual rudder operation (Port & Stbd rudder systems) in sync.

The NT1000 Steering System Selector Switch provides this facility and rudder operation selected is confirmed by STSS panel status LEDs with overall panel background illumination variable and installation selectable for red or green as required.

The STSS receives all switch feeds and returns all switchlines to the STMS (Steering Mode Selector Switch) involving 4 isolated channels in a fully comprehensive dual rudder, dual Follow Up Steering System.

The STSS is not suitable for external location and is intended to be an integral component of a Navitron Steering Console or desk control panel.
