Any of the listed alarm conditions occurring are registered both visually (LED) and audibly (audible alarm) and relate to Feedback, Steering, System, Power, Steering Mode, Serial Data and Emergency Power Failures on one or both Steering Systems as applicable.
A Serial Data link (IEC 61162/1 or /2) is available to send/receive failure data to/from the Central Alarm Panel and an opto isolated input (5-24Vdc) is available to remotely mute/reset alarm conditions from the Central Alarm Panel.
A volt free changeover relay contact is also available as an output switchline to activate an external alarm in the event of any listed alarm condition and an audible failure alarm can be acknowledged/silenced by the STAP Control Panel “STOP” key. An alarm test facility is provided by the “TEST” key.
The STAP is not suitable for external location and is normally intended to be an integral component of a Navitron Steering Console or desk control panel. |
